Memorial Wall at LAPD's 77th Division
The Los Angeles Police Department 77th Street Division Memorial Wall was built to Honor, Respect and Remember the Fallen 77th Division Officers who answered the ultimate call to duty. The waterfall was chosen for it's dynamic; water flowing over stones symbolizing a mighty river and representing life, renewal and strength.

The LAPPL’S Eagle & Badge Foundation held it’s annual gala September 26th at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel with over 800 guests on hand as we honored community leaders and notables --- LA City Council President Eric Garcetti; Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen “Nuch’ Trutanich; CBS Sports Director Jim Hill; Castulo de la Rocha, President of AltaMed Health Services, Acting Asst. Secretary of the Navy Harvey C. Barnum Jr., a Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient, and a special recognition of our 2009 LAPD Medal of Honor recipients.
Trutanich and Garcetti among E&B honorees
Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen "Nuch" Trutanich and Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti will be honored at this year's Eagle & Badge Gala September 26th, announced Event Chair Arthur M. Kassel and Vice Chair Peter Repovich. Other honorees include CBS2 Sports Director Jim Hill, Acting Asst. Secretary of the Navy Harvey C. Barnum, Jr. and Castulo de la Rocha, Chairman of AltaMed Health Services. The event will also pay special tribute to the 2009 LAPD Medal of Valor Recipients.
Eagle & Badge Foundation Plays Santa Claus to the Glory Kids
Almost 1,000 children turned out at the Glory Christian Church for the holiday service and party. Besides his police work, SWAT officer Randal Simmons volunteered on the streets of inner-city neighborhoods where he ministered to children on weekends as part of a church group he founded called Glory Kids Ministries, which steers children away from gangs and toward Christianity.
Abandoned as a child, 12-year-old is helped by the Eagle & Badge Foundation
One look at the little boy with the twinkling eyes and the bright, inquisitive smile and it would be difficult to believe that he was abandoned at birth at three days old. But little Micah captured the heart of Belinda Cannon, a single mother, who fell in love with the infant with the soulful brown eyes.
