The Board of Directors of the Eagle & Badge Foundation recently approved contributions to the following:
The NTAF Southwest Spinal Cord Injury Fund – in memory of Chris Franks
The East Valley Police Activity League
Californians Organized for Police Support
Los Angeles 5 Rotary
and
The Los Angeles Police Mounted Police Foundation’s Mini Mounties Program which provides inner-city youth the opportunity to experience educational programs and excursions.
Recent Eagle & Badge Board grants include:
• Valley Traffic Division’s “Still Saving Lives Golf Classic” fundraiser to help provide much-needed supplies and materials for schools and the community of the San Fernando Valley.
• Financial assistance to an LAPD detective for medical expenses while his daughter underwent major surgery and cancer treatment.
• The North Valley YMCA Booster Club to support their efforts in building strong kids, families and communities.
• The California Disabled Veterans Alliance, which supports veterans in their efforts to find jobs and start their own businesses.
• Los Angeles Women’s Shelter, a place of temporary refuge and support for women escaping violent situations such as rape and domestic violence
