The Eagle & Badge Foundation continues its membership drive for lifetime members and annual and corporate members; all of which helps to support officers, their families and community organizations. Reduced rate membership fees will be continued for at least another six months to assist our supporters during these economically challenging times.
The Eagle & Badge delegate committee has met a couple of times with hopes of planning a fun event for officers to enjoy while raising awareness of the foundation. A couple of ideas we’re looking into are a wine tasting and specialty food truck night with live music, and a casino night. Look for info in the near future. In the meantime, if you have any ideas, let us know!
We are currently in the initial planning stages for the annual Eagle & Badge Gala, which will be held this fall. Once the date and location are set, we will make that announcement, along with the names of our honorees. In the meantime, we are also working with the Eagle & Badge delegates in strategizing a fun, but lower cost, event that we know will be of interest to our delegates, fellow officers and members of the community. We hope to soon make an announcement about this summer event on our website and in the next TBL.
